In New York, we’re really spoilt for choice when it comes to luxury five-star hotels. Here are a few that I came to know and love during my time living in the city.

The first hotel from French crystal makers Baccarat, Baccarat Hotels & Residences is aptly located just opposite the Museum of Modern Art. With 114 guestrooms, basement pool, La Mer Spa and vibrant bar, the hotel itself is a work of art. Most amazing thing about this hotel? The thousands of Baccarat crystals glimmering and sparkling in the evening light.
Four Seasons Hotel New York
After undergoing extensive renovations, the newly transformed Four Seasons Hotel New York is an oasis in the concrete jungle. We love the mix of wood, neutral colors and giant windows in the upper floor guestrooms. In our dreams? A night in the 52nd floor Ty Warner Penthouse with 360° views of the city.
